Insects: Why we can't live without them
Annotations by deborah padgett-triulzi
Track #216512
Format: Resource list
Many of us claim to hate insects. We are, many times, afraid of them. Insects, however, are important to our survival. From this track, 4th-5th grade students should gain insight into the many ways insects affect our daily lives.
3.
Everything Hats!
Annotations by deborah padgett-triulzi
Track #270709
Format: Resource list
This track was developed as a technological connection for 4th grade students studying a unit based on Laurie Carlson’s story “Boss of the Plains”. Its purpose is to familiarize the students with the many types and origins of hats, and their uses. As a bonus, at the end is a great site about Pioneers.
