Earth has been called the water planet.  Toss a plastic "globe" ball and see how many of your fingers land on water when you catch it.  Try this several times, and you will see that most of the earth's surface is covered with water.  This track is designed to help you learn more about the water found on our planet, to extend your knowledge of the water cycle, and to help you learn ways to protect this essential resource.
