Resources and Support for Implementing Technology into the Mathematics Classroom
Annotations by Lisa Nickerson
Track #267585
Format: Resource list
The use of technology in society is increasing everyday which in turn means that students will need to be proficient users of technology.  It is the responsibility of our education system to provide those learning opportunities for the students.  This includes incorporating technology carefully and with much consideration into the secondary mathematics classroom.  Implementing technology into mathematics can be very difficult for teachers because the use of computers or calculators should not replace the knowledge of the student.  Instead technology should work as a partner with the student to search for and increase their understanding of mathematics.  Resources and support for teachers trying to achieve this goal are available.
