Hearing and speech provide the means through which we express and receive ideas, information, and emotions. Hearing loss can cause individual speech and language systems to be disordered. The resultant communication problems are some of the most serious and challenging to confront a classroom teacher. This Track is to designed to help inform the public on the processes of going deaf or even the loss of hearing. Many people struggle in today's society because of the differences they face such as being deaf or even having semi-deafness.

My age group preference that I decided to work with when I am in the work force is young adulthood up until older adulthood. In the webtrack that I have created dicusses the age groups of my choice through discipline, learning styles, and career choices. I decided to focus on these areas mainly because it is hard to focus in on one particular area, when working with younger and older adults. I have chosen a few theorist to compare my choices to their theories and how they compare to related issues I have chosen.
