The following track is a writing unit focused on 6th grade level. Writing is one of our goals on our school improvement plan. The students have a variety of writing activities. They are writing their own reviews of favorite dining locations, writing a five sentence paragraph, creative story writing, identifying and writing specific points of view, and a descriptive paragraph. This will also help the students learn to use the skills they learn in different sujects at school. The TN Curriculum Framework and Gateway standards state that the students will develop the structural and creative skills necessary to produce written language that can be read and interpreted by various audiences.

The following Track is a writing unit focused on 6th grade level. Writing is one of our goals in our school improvement plan. The students have a variety of writing activities. They are combining paragraphs, script writing, writing your own story, drawing a charater or scene of the story and writing a paragraph about the drawing, and writing a letter. This will also help the students decide which tasks are most important to solve a problem and put them in the right order. The students can also use the skills they learn in different subjects at school. The TN Curriculum Framework and Gateway standards state that the students will develop the structural and creative skills necessary to produce written language that can be read and interpreted by various audiences.
