In these sites, my third grade low achieving Reading students will be required to work through activities in which they will use elements of a fairy tale to develop a more detail understanding of differences between realism and fantasy as addressed in my learning gap. They will be addressing the Tennessee Curriculum Framework as they develop the reading skills necessary for word recognition, comprehension, interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and appreciation of the story. As students complete this project, they will be strengthening objectives 2,8,14,and17 from the Pre-survey which deal with students using their best skills to understand and explain a topic.

The track is for my third grade low achieving reading class. The students will be engaged in cause and effect skills through using time lines, letter writing, discussion problems and illustration of the cause and the effect. Through the activities students will develop the reading skills necessary for word recognition, comprehension, interpretation, analysis, evaluation, an appreciation of the written text required by the TN Language Arts framework. Students will be strengthening profiler skills which ask them to spot important facts, deciding which tasks are important, and telling others what they have learned. Building strong cause and effect relationships will help increase critical thinking goals addressed in our school wide improvement plan.

This track is for my third grade low achieving reading class. The students will be engaged in comprehension skills through an apple theme by using time lines, recalling ideas,listening skills,and picture clues. Through the activies students will develop the reading skills necessary for word recognition, comprehension, interpretation, analysis evaluation, and appreciation of the written text required by the TN Language Arts framework. Students will be strengthening profiler skills which asks them to spot important facts, deciding which tasks are important, and telling others what they have learned. Increasing comprehension skills will address our system wide school improvement plan goals in critical thinking skills.
