Steamin' Around This track takes you to a steamboat that was excavated out of Missouri farm ground. Having sunk in the Missouri River in the 1800's, the contents of the Arabia are well preserved and intact. The steamboat is now a museum in Kansas City, Mo. where students and people of all ages can learn about this part of the evolution of transportation in the United States. It also contains one short and one longer biography of Robert Fulton, the inventor of the first steamboat, the Clermont.
