Students will look at statistics of Asian countries hit hardest by the 2004 Asian Tsunami.  They will examine the current death toll listings as well as create graphs using United Nations statistics on the population, economy, health, and technology of six countries.  Students will then interpret these graphs by first ranking the given statistics and later, writing a comparison/contrast paragraph comparing their two specific assigned countries.
