 Track Description
Through site research, students will be able to discover components of a positive self-image and its relation to the central character, Melinda Scordino, who is suffering from a traumatic event. The event causes her self image to decline at a rapid pace. Through researching these sites, students will identify the characteristics of a positive self-image. Also, students will evaluate their own self-image and through this experience they may relate to Melinda's dilemma and rapid decline. Additionally, students will have a better understanding of social issues that do not directly affect them.
