 Track Description

Students will research the psychological and emotional impact of date rape.  Also, the track will explore short stories of teenagers as they deal with the issues of self-esteem, dating, school, and other issues that are comparable to that of Melinda Sordino, the protagonist in the novel, Speak.  Through their perusal of the webistes students will be able to construct a character analysis of Melinda and the impact of certain events on her life.
