 Track Description
The stated learning gap is to increase reading comprehension skills which correlated with the Tennessee Curriculum Framework to develop word recognition, comprehension, interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and appreciation of the written text. This novel study of Sarah, Plain and Tall, uses the version of the novel I have used with my sixth grade class. This guide is a good fit for my students. The enrichment, vocabulary, and comprehension that is used is ideal to address the comprehension learning gaps identified for my students. The major gaps are word recognition and comprehension. As evidenced by the Teacher Pre-Survey, my students do not have the opportunity to \"use Internet in my class to answer questions or practice skills online.\" This unit will also help them practice this necessary skill.
