 Track Description

Special Education is an evolving field.  Not long ago, students who needed special services were segregated to a separate part of the school or even a separate building.  The call for integration and collaboration between special education and regular education is being answered to the benefit of all.  The reauthorization of IDEA and the No Child Left Behind Act have changed the way that the world looks at special education.  This presentation will inform you of the advances for students with disabilities in both their academic expectations, as well as their legal rights under state and federal law.
