 Track Description
Students will learn about the development of Memphis, the relationship of settlement to the land, and about the current population patterns of the state.
This Track is meant to align with Tennessee standards, specifically:
  • Students can use appropriate tools, including maps and other geographic representation, and technology, for gathering information.
  • Students will examine the fundamental role geographical context has played in affecting historical events.
  • Students will analyze the characteristics, distribution, and migration of human populations and observe the processes, pattersn, adn functions of human settlement.
