This Track will explore the election process used when the College of Cardinals go into Conclave to elect a pope. This site will include the information about the most recent Papal Election of Pope Francis. This will include the 1996 guidelines for the election of a pope written by Pope John Paul II. Information about the life and death of Pope John Paul II. Information about Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI and the current events in the Church.
