National Science Standard A: Science As Inquiry - Understanding About Scientific Inquiry
-There are different kinds of investigations - describing, classifying, and experimenting (fair test)
-They use different instruments -- thermometers, magnifiers, rulers, etc.
-They try to explain what they explored.

Standard G: History and Nature of Science: -Science As A Human Endeavor.
-Many people choose science as a career and devote their entire lives to it. Many people enjoy doing science.

In this track, groups of students will learn how scientists study polar bear populations and will use data to plot the movements of polar bears.
