Designed for 6th grade students.  Students will choose a famous woman and then create a short biography answering questions provided by the teacher and these questions:

1. Are this woman's accompishments important to the world? Why or why not?

2. Should this woman be considered a role model or hero based on her accomplishments?

The students will then create a postage stamp about the woman's accomplishments using information acquired from research.
