 Track Description
This track will help high school biology students learn about several human diseases caused by bacteria. These diseases aren’t necessarily a major health concern in the United States, but have a significant impact in developing countries around the world. This is important to consider when traveling overseas for business or leisure. The diseases that the students will be studying are cholera, tuberculosis, and typhoid fever. Students will identify the causative agent of the disease, method of transmission, symptoms, treatment, and prevention.
