Students will: 1. Review causes leading up to the American Revolutionary War; 2. Obtain interesting background information on : a. Native American presence in the colonies, and b. a form of punishment common during this period. 3. View Primary Sources produced by a. Sons of Liberty, b. Committees of Correspondence, and c. 1st Continental Congress; 4. Read about the First Continental Congress and the Battles of Lexington and Concord (map included). Supplemental activity: reading about Guiness World Records.
