Students explore a variety of aspects of North Dakota history, such as the potential Scandinavian settlers in the 1300s, the French explorer La Vérendrye, the Shoshone guide Sacágawea, and European settlement in the late 1800s. Finally, students read about a historic architecture survey in North Dakota, and plan their own survey for thier town.
