The purpose of this track is to provide a list of resources for parents of children with learning disabilities. It includes definitions of learning disabilities, dealing with the child at home, helping your child achieve independence, study skills, a list of support groups, how to prevent burnout, an overview of the parents role in the IEP process, and inclusion of a child with learning disabilities in a general education classroom.
