This track allows students a taste of many cultures and time periods. We will begin with a discussion of African cultures and History. Next we will move to sites related to the brutality of the middle passage and slavery. We will then discus The Great Migration and the hardships encountered in this movement. Finally we make a drastic move into the Harlem Renaissance and Jazz. Under each track students are asked to answer a critical question or complete a journal entry related to that track.
