No business can survive in today's fast-paced, competitive business and sales environment without the kind of customer service that keep customers coming back for more of what you sell. As you work through this Track, you'll get some customer service tips from top business professionals. You'll learn about four different kinds of customers and what guides their buying decisions. You'll take a look at some customer loyalty programs, a knock-out "value-added" service program that rescued a sagging shoe business, and some company Internet sites that illustrate dedication to customer service. You'll discover "customer advocacy" and how it wins delighted and loyal customers. To show what you've learned, you'll have a chance to do some interesting activities. You'll analyze your own personal customer type and buying motives for several products, plan a "valud-added" customer services program, and create a "customer advocacy" plan for a business. you'll even conduct and report some customer service research of your own. When you've finished Customer Service IS Your Business, you'll know what customer service is all about!
