Students research the history of NASCAR, rules, current and past drivers, and changes in cars to eventually write papers about their own race that they drive in. With each of the sites, there are study questoins to help guide their writing, such as aspects that are required and fun facts that the students might want to look for. In utilizing the provided websites, the students will learn to effectively gather information from provided websites while allowing them enough latitude to be creative. In combining reasearch and writing, students are gathering up-to-date information while enhancing their writing skills and creativity.
