Track Description
This track should be used after reading a selection of stories and poems from the following Southern authors: Maya Angelou, James Dickey, William Faulkner, Mark Twain, Pat Conroy, Peggy Parish, John Grisham, Eudora Welty, Kate Chopin, Katherine Anne Porter and Flannery O'Connor. After discussing the stories, students will choose their favorite author and create a children's book discussing the author's life and accomplishments.
