She's written books for all grade levels, and they deal with lots of different things. J.K. Rowling is the author of the _Harry Potter_ series, and her books about the boy wizard are amazing! The books get a little more difficult as Harry gets older (he'll be 17 when his stories conclude), but after reading the first one, you'll want to read them all!
