This Track was designed to teach students about spreadsheets. It can be used for teachers who are introducing spreadsheets into the curriculum. This Track was designed to be used on the middle school level. This track focuses on the history of spreadsheets, the basics of spreadsheets, and spreadsheet terms. The students will be introduced to the very basics of spreadsheets. Through this track, students should gain understanding of what a spreadsheet is, how to use a spreadsheet and what a spreadsheet is used for. After completing the track, students will create a spreadsheet to include information to plan a birthday party. Students will calculate how many items are needed, cost per item and total of each item needed for the birthday party.
