This lesson shows students two optical art artists and examples of their work who create art on the computer rather than the traditional canvas. It allows students to analyze an art picture created on the computer and hypothesize on how the artist created it. It also teaches the students the parts of the tool bar in the AppleWorks paint program and gives them hands on experience in using the tools to create their own digital art.Tennessee Curriciulum Frameworks standards: Technology-The student will use a variety of technologies to improve classroom learning, increase productivity, and support creativity.
