The Math Standards for 3-5 states that the math curriculum should include problems which require students to apply appropriate tools including ways to find equivalent fractions. The track, Equivalent Fractions, will help students to find equivalent fractions by using physical, tangible objects. It will also aid them in acquiring basic skills they will need for further learning. This track will allow students to think of ways to connect what they learn in class to practice skills and questions that they will be answering when they use the internet as described in the Profiler Teacher Survey.
