 Track Description
Students will complete activities that will help them understand the major events in the Civil War and some of the not-so-major events. They will read about women of the war, listen to music and read poems written during the war, research Abraham Lincoln, and participate in an activity that will illustrate what it was like to be a slave during and after the war. The Curriculum Standard : Standard 1: Students will exhibit a knowledge of history, identifying and describing major events, people, and trends will be met.
