In this unit students will learn about synonyms and how to recognize them in sentences and paragraphs. The TN Curriculum Standards for Language Arts grade cluster 3_5 will develop reading skills necessary for word recognition, comprehension, intrepretation, analysis, evalution and appreciation of the written text. This track uses various methods to teach the concept of synonyms. The synonyms track will help students try more than one way to solve a problem and learn something as completely as they can, as stated in the Teacher Profiler Survey.
