These links provide access to units that teach creative dramatics or describe various dramatic techniques. Interdisciplinary activities are also included in order to incorporate drama with social studies, reading, science, art, and other learning areas. A TN Curriculum Frameworks Content for Theatre Art 4-6: LEVEL III: (approximate grades: 4-6) states: Sensory perception - Use the senses to interpret experiences as actor and viewer; Emotional expression - Use emotional recall to interpret and communicate experiences as actor and viewer; Imagination - Use imagination to interact cooperatively with others in dramatic activities; Movement - Use movement to express thought, feeling, and character from life, literature, and history. Learning expectations for this standard include the following: Language - Use language to discover relationships with others through dramatic activities; Voice - Use voice for conscious communication of thought, feeling, and character; Artistic
