The student will browse Altavista to find the sites that will enable them to better understand dividing fractions.The teacher and the students will work together to use the net to discover sights with terms and situations that better insure the mastery of dividing fractions. This is a study in using a search engine as well. 48% of my 5th Grade students were deficient in the area of dividing fractions, on the Terra Nova Test. I feel confident that when I have completed this track and taught it to my class that they will show a gain in the ability to divide fractions.
