 Track Description
The TN Curriculum Frameworks for Language Arts Reading in grades 3-5 states: "The student will develop the reading skills necessary for word recognition, comprehension, interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and appreciation of the written text." This track will allow students to make a connection between selected books which they enjoy reading and the author(s) who wrote them as they study the works of Dr. Seuss. The unit also addresses item # 20 on the pre-survey (My students use Internet in my class to research topics) because they will be using internet to learn about Dr. Seuss and his stories.
