 Track Description
The stated learning gap is demonstrating that students need more exposure to historical accounts to give them a desire to learn their country's past and organize their thoughts more consisely and critiquely. In this unit, students will read a biography of Harriet Tubman, trace the Underground Railroad, and take part in a variety of related critical thinking activities, including timelines. I chose this unit because it not only follows the curriculum of our text but also gives them more technological knowledge.
