 Track Description
Students will use the Internet to research various topics related to the true story of Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes. They will read and follow directions in order to make an origami peace crane. They will view photos of the effects of the atom bomb and read personal stories of survivors. They will learn how peace is pursued and nurtured through the Peace Memorial and Sadakos book. These activities will enhance their performance of Viewing and Representing 6-8 standards.
