 Track Description
In order for students to develop the reading skills necessary for word recogniton, comprehension, interpertation, analysis, evaluation, and appreciation of the written text, this unit was chosen because it addresses figurative language using many different activities. It allows the students to write similes, metaphors, and other forms of figurative language and to compare each form. This will allow students to use the knowledge they acquire to aid them in other subject areas and to create new ideas.
