 Track Description
These sites facilitate instruction in oral fluency, expression, accuracy, and confidence. These sites provide motivation for students to become involved in a study of Dr. Seuss books. Students will have hands-on time with some of these sites that allow them to extend their learning. This addresses the fourth grade framework standard of reading orally to develop fluency, expression, accuracy, and confidence. The profiler indicates that my students need experience in attempting tasks that at first seem hard to do. Since oral reading is difficult for some students, this unit should encourage them to do their best even though it may not seem comfortable at first.
