The unit "Book Reports" coorelates with the objectives set forth by the State of Tennessee Department of Education, which fall under the standard of writing to develop the structural and creative skills necessary to produce written languages that can be interpreted by various audiences. It also includes the standard of using a variety of appropriate organizational strategies to develop writing on various topics. This unit will allow students to develop skills that are necessary to be able to present their ideas and writings to other students. It also will allow students to get better acquainted with the computer as a research tool and a writing companion.
