 Track Description
Track-A-Day

This Track serves as a self-sufficient mini-unit that addresses various aspects of observational astronomy. You may begin with a comprehensive overview of astronomy; move into astronomical databases that provide a background on nebulae, star clusters, galaxies, and high energy astrophysics; observe comets in real time; check out recent Hubble Space Telescope imagery; reserve observational time on telescopes throughout the world; become actively involved in the political aspect of space exploration; and visit virtual space museums.

At the conclusion of each annotation, a question or series of questions relating to the appropriate page will require use of current knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis, and evaluation of information. Many of the questions will ask you to construct your own learning environment through inquiry. For example, you may be challenged to make observations, collect and analyze data, and report conclusions on a certain topic. ENJOY!
