This track allows students to learn more about the political process on all three levels, federal, state, and local. They will be introduced to their government officials and have an opportunity to email them. The students will also learn about the Presidental election. This track addresses the following curriculum standards: 1. Students will understand and be able to explain the purposes and structure of governments with an emphasis on constitutional governments. 2. Students will gain knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to become contributing citizens in our participatory democracy.
