Seventh grade students should understand how to read maps and globes and determine the meaning of words which are related to them. They should be able to draw and label the seven continents and understand different componets of maps. The earths physical features such as mountains, rivers, lakes, and the oceans can be linked to the general location of classes taught any where in the world. Questions may be structured so they can be scientifically investigated on any of the above topics.
