Third and Fourth grade students in my resource Language Arts and Reading classes have been struggling with their growing creativity and weaknesses in the skills to academically nourish their individuality while reading and writing in all academic areas. This unit will allow students to learn how to learn and practice the necessary skills for proficient reading and writing, while encouraging them to let their imaginations fly as they create their very own story.
