 Track Description
This track is designed to provide students with articles and background information about current social issues. Central to this track is the concept of point of view-- that issues look different from different angles, that different experiences and assumptions will lead to different conclusions. In the Japanese tale Rashomon an altercation takes place at a crossroads, and there are as many versions of the incident as there were viewers. The same is true on the school yard or in presidential politics.
