This is a writing and technology track for fourth grade. It addresses the learning gap by providing an opportunity for students to write sentences and create a paragraph about a subject in which they are interested. This track addressess the 3-5 Language Arts - Writing Content Standard: The Student will develop the structrual and creative skills necessary to produce written language that can be read and interpreted by various audiences. Because the students will be using our new computer lab to develop and print their paragraphs this lesson also meets the 3-5 Computer Technology: Literacy and Usage Curriculum Standard 7: The student will use technology resources to develop problem solving strategies, improve decision-making, and support real world applications. A class book will be created by binding the computer created and printed pages together in student created book cover.
