 Track Description
The stated learning gap is difficulty writing paragraphs with a beginning, a middle, and an ending. The lesson, "Creative Writing" was chosen because it requires students to write the beginning, middle, and ending of a paragraph. The Language Arts 3-5 cluster content standard states the student will develop the structural and creative skills necessary to produce written language that can be read and interpreted by various audiences. I chose this lesson because it allowed my students to decide which tasks are most important to solve a problem and put them in the right order as described in the profiler thinking skills survey.
