Middle school students are at a point in their lives to begin making choices about high school classes, curriculum paths, and career choices. This unit is designed to assist them in this process by providing them with useful information about a variety of careers. They will enhance their goal-setting skills as they research a variety of skills. This aligns with the Tennessee curriculum standard that states that students need to demonstrate choices that reflect interests and abilities and select courses and extra-curricular activities that match career goals.
