Track Description
This track is designed to help my students master the skill of two-digit multiplication as the need was stated in my learning gap. They will do this by practicing multiplication strategies with worksheets that have been downloaded from the Internet. The Tennessee Curriculum standard that I used with this unit is..NUMBER SENSE AND NUMBER THEORY: In order to develop Number Sense and an understanding of Number Theory, the mathematics curriculum must include problems which require students to recognize, represent, and model real numbers and operations verbally, physically, symbolically, and graphically. This unit also addresses many of the survey items. Some examples would include more time using the computer and relating this skill to other subject areas. This unit will address higher order skills by allowing the students to progress at their own level and encourage them to strive for the next level.
