 Track Description
Learning Gap: identifying and implementing various styles of writing Grade Level: 8 I chose this unit because the gap in this area was identified, and I believed it would help my students overcome their deficiencies in this area. Content standard: The student will develop the structural and creative skills necessary to produce written language that can be read and interpreted by various audiences. Description of Contents: Students can use the links to do several different types of writing activities. These include writing fantasy fiction, writing short stories, writing controversial essays, and writing A+ essays. Each of these links provides information about the lesson, as well as what the student will be expected to do. These lessons provide different opportunities for types of writing and should keep the students interested as well as helping them learn.
