 Track Description
The unit, "Subject/Verb Agreement" addresses the learning gap identified as students having difficulty with sentence structure and using parts of speech correctly in a sentence. The Curriculum Standard states that students will develop the structural and creative skills necessary to produce written language. In order to produce written language, students need to be able to identify the different types of sentences. In this lesson students will write examples of the four types of sentences and circle the subject and underline the verb in each. Question #4 of the pre-survey, My students are willing to try tasks that seem hard to do, will be evident in the tasks set before them.
