The title Crazy Review of Words is a thorough review of nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, and exclamations using the internet to enhance word usage. The students identify and use words in a sentence. The teacher can use one computer to teach to the whole class. Teacher can call on all students to participate. The teacher can also review the students as they work. Students are graded on their choice of words not their story line. It is a fun and exciting way to learn for both the teacher and the students. This lesson is very good practice for my sixth graders in writing. It will prepare them for the seventh grade writing assessment on the Terra Nova test as well as enhance their understanding of words on the Language Mechanics section.
